Dear all of the youths

Everyone is welcome to the 2021 International Youth Cyber Environment Forum.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province holds this cyber environmental forum every year in order for the youths to share various environmental information through the presentation and discussion on their role and action in environmental preservation and to build their capacity in solving environmental problems.

This Forum began from a student's proposal to hold a forum during the dialogue between IUCN Director General and the Jeju students of environmental club when the Preparatory Committee on 2012 World Conservation Congress was held.

This year, Jong Soo Yoon, President of the IUCN National Committee of the Republic of Korea and a former Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Environment in the Republic of Korea, delivered the keynote speech on the theme of this forum, "The Role of Future Generations to Implement Net Zero 2050," and 41 teams of youth panels proposed their ideas on one of the following sub-themes.

1) Voices of the Future Generation to COP28
2) Action Plan to Achieve Net Zero
